Elevated Vessel
Create a clay vessel (handmade, mold, or wheel thrown) with a diameter of at least 5 inches. Create a sculptural hand built base that is a minimum of 6 inches high. Attach the vessel to your base before firing. Glaze or paint your piece when finished. The vessel should appear to be elevated by your base and therefore you cannot have a clunky base that overpowers the size of your vessel.
