Sculptural Teapot
Design and create a unique and functional, sculptural teapot (must look like something other than a teapot) OR design and create a unique themed teapot (the theme must be obvious and incorporate many decorative techniques. Do not simply add decorations to a teapot. Create a teacup to accompany your teapot. It does not have to be sculptural but must be an obvious companion to your teapot. Choose an appropriate hand building technique that best suits your design (pinch, coil, slab, mold or a combination). Your teapot MUST include a lid, handle, and a working spout. Teapots must be functional (handle supports weight, lid stays in place, spout pours, etc.) but does not have to be practical. It can be a work of art.
